Data Engineer with SQL Expertise

Job Summary

To support a growing data team, the full-time remote Data Engineer with SQL Expertise will write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries while designing scalable data models and reliable data pipelines that drive business reporting and analytics.

Key responsibilities

• Write, review, and optimize SQL queries to support business reporting and data transformation
• Design and develop data models and pipelines to ensure accurate and consistent data for analytics
• Collaborate with analysts and business leaders to understand data needs and deliver effective solutions

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
• 3 - 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or Analytics Engineer
• Advanced SQL skills, including experience with complex queries in production environments
• Experience with cloud data platforms such as Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, or Snowflake
• Understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing best practices
