Data Engineering Analyst

Job Summary

Focused on improving data pipelines and migrating legacy systems, the remote contract Data Engineering Analyst will enhance data accuracy and system performance while ensuring seamless data transfer and integration.

Key responsibilities:

• Improve data pipelines through automation with quality checks to ensure accuracy and reliability
• Migrate legacy systems to new systems, performing thorough analysis and seamless data transfers
• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes and data workflows, utilizing cloud-based platforms

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field preferred; equivalent hands-on experience valued
• 4 to 7 years of experience as a Data Engineer
• Strong SQL and Python skills, with experience in data modeling and maintaining data workflows
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms and developing ETL/ELT processes
• Hands-on experience with data migration, including schema mapping and data validation
