Data Engineering Lead

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Engineering Lead.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain high-throughput data pipelines and infrastructure for real-time trading, risk, and research workflows
• Collaborate with portfolio managers, engineers, and researchers to extract actionable insights from complex datasets
• Lead the technical strategy for data infrastructure, including tool selection and system architecture

Required Qualifications

• Experience developing complex software solutions such as rules engines or risk systems
• Substantial experience in building and maintaining high throughput data systems
• Excellent skills in Python and SQL; familiarity with Rust or C++ is a plus
• Comfortable with command-line Linux, Docker, and memory profiling/logs analysis
• Proven experience working with diverse technical and non-technical stakeholders
