Job Summary

Leading Databricks-based data engineering initiatives, the contract Data Engineering Leader will work remotely to guide a small team and leverage extensive experience in data warehousing within the pharmaceutical industry.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and manage data engineering projects utilizing Databricks and enterprise data warehouse platforms
• Lead a team of developers, providing technical guidance and support as needed

Required qualifications

• Senior-level experience in data engineering with a focus on Databricks
• Extensive hands-on experience with data warehouse platforms
• Prior work experience in the pharmaceutical industry
• Strong Python development skills and understanding of object-oriented programming
• Familiarity with CI/CD principles and automated delivery pipelines
