Data Engineering Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Manager of Data Engineering to join their Data Engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote growth of direct reports through mentorship and coaching
• Build and maintain data pipelines using Airflow and dbt for operational reporting
• Evaluate and improve existing data models and processes for efficiency

Required Qualifications

• 6 - 8 years of experience in software or data engineering and development
• Understanding of data modeling for business intelligence or data science
• Experience with API design patterns, high-volume data pipelines, and data integrity frameworks
• Familiarity with various data stores (e.g., Snowflake, MySQL, MongoDB)
• Experience with Airflow, dbt, and cloud computing platforms like AWS
