Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Engineering Manager to lead their Back Office Services team within the Data Platform organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers in building and maintaining services for internal operational data
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs across various domains
• Define and drive the technical vision and roadmap for Back Office data services

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience managing engineering teams in a high-growth environment (typically 2+ years)
• 5+ years of hands-on engineering experience with distributed systems or data platforms
• Background in backend engineering with Python or similar languages
• Strong understanding of data modeling, APIs, and the operational data lifecycle
• Experience in a regulated environment (e.g., healthcare, finance, or biotech)
