Data Engineering Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Engineering Manager to lead a new team focused on predictive modeling in the P&C insurance market.

Key Responsibilities

• Recruit and manage a team of data engineers on multiple projects related to data preparation and pipeline development
• Provide strategic guidance in data interrogation, pipeline creation, feature management, and data security
• Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and analysts to develop innovative solutions and manage data assets

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent industry experience
• 10+ years of relevant data engineering experience
• 5+ years of management experience, including team recruitment and development
• Advanced experience in building ML data pipelines and expert SQL skills
• In-depth knowledge of Python for data processing and experience with AWS data capabilities
