Data Engineering Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Engineering Manager (Cloud Services and Data Transformation).

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and drive the success of data engineering workgroups, ensuring best practices in development and security
• Manage technical project oversight, including driving the delivery roadmap and ensuring all technical requirements are met
• Facilitate communication and empower workgroups to optimize processes while removing impediments to progress

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of experience, or an Associate's/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience, or 7 years of applicable experience required
• 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred
• 5-7 years of experience in data engineering or a related field, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role
• Strong technical proficiency in data engineering technologies and cloud data platforms
• Expertise in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala
