Data Engineering Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Manager, Data Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a team of data professionals in database administration and data engineering functions
• Coordinate with Data Architects and Engineers to understand data requirements and ensure quality delivery
• Oversee the development and implementation of QA methodologies for validating the data pipeline

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in leading and managing Data Engineering or DBA roles
• Experience with ETL or data ingestion tools such as Rivery, FiveTran, or Informatica
• Familiarity with DWaaS platforms, preferably Snowflake or Redshift
• Experience managing multiple database technologies including MySQL, Postgres, and MongoDB
• Knowledge of security and compliance regulations such as HIPAA and ISO27001
