Data Engineering Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Engineering Manager to oversee the data delivery lifecycle and manage a distributed team of developers.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of complex data projects, ensuring timely and high-quality ETL solutions
• Lead and mentor a distributed team, providing technical direction and conducting code reviews
• Ensure deep system integration and operational excellence by developing testing frameworks and QA plans

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering or ETL development, with 4-5 years in a leadership role
• Expert-level understanding of ETL technologies, SQL Server, Postgres, Databricks, and Python/PySpark
• Strong background in SQL and RDBMS, with troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
