Data Engineering Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Manager, Data Engineering to oversee and enhance its data ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Data Engineering department, guiding technical roadmaps and project direction
• Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing engineering team
• Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of scalable data infrastructure and ETL/ELT pipelines

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
• 3+ years of technical leadership or engineering management experience
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering and building production-grade pipelines
• 5+ years of experience in BI, data modeling, and cloud data warehousing architecture
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, or Scala)
