Data Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Leading a team of data engineers, the full-time remote Data Engineering Manager will oversee the end-to-end delivery of complex data pipelines, ensuring analytics are integrated into business processes while collaborating with stakeholders to align priorities and enhance data solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of high-quality data solutions by coaching data engineers and partnering with stakeholders
• Own the end-to-end data engineering delivery across the project lifecycle, ensuring strong delivery hygiene
• Design analytics-ready data structures and automate data ingestion to connect internal and external data sources reliably

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on development experience in Python and distributed processing environments (e.g., Spark)
• 2-3+ years of experience in technical leadership or project delivery ownership
• Strong programming expertise in SQL and proficiency with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, Azure)
• Experience with data warehousing and modeling fundamentals
• College degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Data Analytics, or equivalent
