Data Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Managing a team of data engineers, the full-time remote Data Engineering Manager will oversee the delivery of high-quality, scalable data engineering solutions while fostering a collaborative team environment and driving continuous improvements in product and process.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage a data engineering team to align with product and business goals
• Drive technical execution and delivery of scalable data engineering pipelines while ensuring product quality
• Coach and mentor engineers, facilitating their career growth and skill development

Required qualifications

• BS degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with at least 1 year in a management role
• Strong technical background in data engineering technologies (DBT, Snowflake, or similar)
• Experience in agile development environments and process improvements
• Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing engineering teams
