Data Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Leading the DataOps function, the full-time Data Engineering Manager will drive operational excellence and manage the delivery of data initiatives while working in a hybrid environment, collaborating with stakeholders and overseeing offshore engineering resources.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the DataOps function to enhance platform reliability and operational maturity
• Manage and mentor offshore engineering teams, ensuring effective delivery of data solutions
• Coordinate with stakeholders to prioritize work and oversee the execution of DataOps requests

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or related technical roles
• 2+ years of experience in leading technical teams or managing engineering projects
• Strong understanding of modern data engineering architectures and ETL/ELT patterns
• Hands-on experience with data orchestration platforms such as Airflow or Airbyte
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
