Data Engineering Manager

Job Summary

To support the Enterprise Data Services team, the full-time remote Data Engineering Manager will oversee the design, development, and optimization of data pipelines and architectures, manage data engineers, and drive technical strategy to ensure high-quality, secure, and accessible data across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Provide oversight and guidance to Data Engineers, including performance reviews and status reporting
• Lead the publication of data engineering best practices and act as the Data Engineering Center of Excellence representative
• Implement process improvements and promote enterprise best practices in data pipelines, platforms, and architectures

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Technology, Mathematics, Business Administration, or a related field
• 5+ years in modern data warehouse/data lakehouse data engineering with multiple implementations
• 3+ years of experience leading data engineering teams
• Hands-on experience with dimension data modeling and modern data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake)
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with Fabric / Power BI, including semantic models
