Job Summary

Leading a team of data engineers, the full-time remote Data Engineering Manager will drive technical strategy and modernization initiatives for the data platform, ensuring high performance and resource efficiency while mentoring team members and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of data engineers, focusing on their technical growth and professional development
• Own the technical strategy and roadmap for the data platform, driving modernization initiatives
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define data models and analytics architecture

Required qualifications:

• 7+ years of engineering management experience with a proven track record of building effective teams
• Experience in cybersecurity or SOC environments with knowledge of threat detection and vulnerability intelligence
• Strong technical background in distributed data systems and familiarity with technologies like Elastic Stack and Kubernetes
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools and workflows
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
