Data Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Leading a team of data engineers, the full-time remote Data Engineering Manager will oversee the design and operation of data platforms and solutions critical for healthcare quality measurement and regulatory reporting, while ensuring scalability, security, and performance of data assets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the design and development of scalable data-driven solutions and data pipeline frameworks for efficient data processing and delivery
• Oversee the creation of data delivery services that support operational processes and analytical models, implementing best practices for enterprise data management
• Develop a data culture within the team, collaborating with various stakeholders and managing the integration of data tools and frameworks

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or 4 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
• 5 years of related professional experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role
• Knowledge of modern data engineering architectures and healthcare data domains, including HEDIS and Risk Adjustment programs
• Experience with Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and programming languages such as Python and SQL
• Ability to evaluate emerging technologies and establish technical roadmaps for data scalability and analytics maturity
