Job Summary
Overseeing the data engineering team, the full-time salaried Data Engineering Manager will manage daily operations, coordinate with departments to meet data needs, and implement best practices for data management while working remotely from Florida.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of the data engineering team, promoting innovation and continuous improvement
- Guide the team in utilizing Azure Data Factory to create and optimize data pipelines and ETL processes
- Oversee the deployment of data architectures to support the organization's data strategy and business objectives
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, information technology, or a related field
- 5+ years of progressive experience in data engineering, preferably in a financial institution, with supervisory experience
- Advanced technical skills including SQL DW, SSRS, PowerBI, and proficiency in Azure or Apache Spark
- Proficient in SQL, Python, Azure Data Factory, and Databricks Unity Catalog
- Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and credit union systems preferred
