Data Engineering Manager
Job Summary
Leading a team of Data Engineers and Data Architects, the full-time Manager, Data Engineering will oversee the design and governance of enterprise data assets to support strategic initiatives in Research, Oncology, and AI transformation, while working remotely from Philadelphia.
Key responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development and execution of the data engineering strategy, aligning team objectives with organizational goals
- Guide the planning and execution of data engineering projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
- Manage a team of 6-8 data engineers, providing direction, feedback, and fostering a positive team culture
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a proven track record of leading teams on large complex projects
- Experience working with data from Electronic Health Records (EHRs) is required
- 1+ years of experience with Epic EHRs is preferred
