Data Engineering Manager
Job Summary
To build and lead the AI Data Platform team, the full-time remote Data Engineering Manager will manage a team of data engineers, oversee the technical and operational aspects of the platform, and define the technical roadmap while ensuring data quality and compliance.
Key responsibilities:
- Build and lead a team of data engineers, establishing processes and engineering culture
- Take ownership of the AI Data Platform, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security
- Define and execute the technical roadmap, prioritizing work in alignment with business objectives
Required qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in software or data engineering, with at least 2 years in an engineering management role
- Strong technical foundation in data engineering, including proficiency in Python and SQL
- Experience with cloud-native data platforms and modern data infrastructure
- Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders and translate business needs into engineering priorities
- BS in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent real-world experience
