Data Engineering Specialist

Job Summary

To support a centralized data engineering team, the full-time Data Engineering Specialist will build and maintain reliable data pipelines, ensuring high-quality data accessibility for operational and analytical use, while working remotely across the U.S.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data pipelines to support business reporting and analytics
• Collaborate with senior engineers to implement data models and contribute to data warehouse and Lakehouse environments
• Design data pipelines with validation checks and automated monitoring to ensure data quality and compliance

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field; relevant experience may substitute for degree
• 2-4 years of experience in data engineering or related field, including internships
• Hands-on experience with AWS data services and familiarity with cloud-based data warehousing solutions like Snowflake
• Experience working on ETL/ELT pipelines within large data systems, ensuring data quality and reliability
• Preferred certifications in AWS or Snowflake
