Data Engineering Team Lead

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Market Data Team Lead to oversee the Data Engineering team and manage market data platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end delivery of core data engineering initiatives, including market data platforms and scalable processing systems
• Lead and mentor the Data Engineering team, translating business needs into roadmaps and engineering standards
• Own data ingestion and processing for live and historical datasets, defining SLAs and data quality metrics

Qualifications

• Prior experience in Data Engineering, with at least 2+ years in a lead role
• Prior experience in trading, HFT, systematic hedge fund, or similar
• Profound expertise in diverse types of market data
• Experience with streaming systems and distributed compute technologies
• Proven ownership of data pipelines in latency-sensitive environments
