Job Summary
Receiving and processing incoming documents, the full-time Data Entry Specialist will evaluate contents for patient file management, ensuring accurate document attachment and record creation in a hybrid onsite environment in Franklin, TN.
Key responsibilities:
- Receive, review, and sort incoming documents, scanning them into the system as needed
- Determine if documents can be added to existing patient records or if new records need to be created
- Update patient records with information from incoming documents while maintaining confidentiality
Required qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1+ years of experience in data entry, call center, healthcare, or insurance preferred
- Typing speed of 35 WPM with minimal errors
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new systems
- Comfortable working with various office technologies, including scanners and mail sorters
