Data Exchange Analyst
Job Summary
Supporting the business community, the full-time remote Data Exchange Analyst will assist customers and third-party administrators with implementing, testing, and troubleshooting inbound and outbound EDI and API connections related to eligibility.
Key responsibilities
- Assist customers and third-party administrators with the implementation and support of inbound data connections
- Act as a liaison between the business community and IT, troubleshooting transmission or formatting issues
- Perform thorough user acceptance testing of inbound eligibility files and respond to internal and external inquiries regarding connections
Required qualifications
- Experience working with HIPAA data files
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Text Pad (or other EDI file viewing applications) and MS Excel
- Ability to manipulate data files to create output in various formats
- College degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience in the insurance industry is preferred
