Data-Focused Business Systems Analyst

Job Summary

Acting as a bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, the contract Business Systems Analyst with a data focus will gather requirements, analyze workflows, and support system enhancements while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, document, and translate business requirements into functional specifications
• Analyze workflows, data flows, and system processes to identify improvements
• Collaborate with business users, developers, and project teams throughout the SDLC

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, preferably within Financial Services, Private Banking, or Investment Management
• Strong experience gathering requirements and working with business and technical teams
• Hands-on experience with SQL, data analysis, reporting, and data validation
• Experience with SDLC methodologies (Waterfall and Agile)
• Ability to create workflows, functional documents, and test plans
