Data Governance Analyst

Job Summary

Collaborating with data producers and consumers, the full-time Technical Data Analyst II will manage metadata generation and documentation for data assets in the Data Platform, ensuring compliance with regulations and accessibility of data resources, while working remotely in the USA.

Key responsibilities:

• Produce high-quality metadata for Data Platform assets in collaboration with data producers
• Document data classification types and ensure compliance with company and governmental standards
• Utilize the Atlan data cataloging tool to enrich and organize metadata effectively

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field such as Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science
• 3+ years of experience in Data Analysis
• 2+ years of experience in Data Governance, including metadata management
• Strong SQL skills
• Knowledge or experience with data architecture
