Data Governance Analyst

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Data Governance Analyst, this hybrid role will manage the vision and roadmap for the Analytics Data Lifecycle, ensuring data quality, compliance, and governance while collaborating across teams to enhance data-driven decision-making.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and oversee a federated data governance framework, ensuring compliance with privacy and security standards
• Champion data quality initiatives, including metadata management and lineage tracking, to maintain high standards for all data products
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable self-service analytics and foster a data-driven culture across the organization

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in data analysis and governance systems
• Proven experience in establishing and executing a data governance framework
• Direct experience with analytics tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Quicksight
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance related to data governance, including HIPAA and GDPR
• Hands-on experience managing governed data, including PII and PHI
