Job Summary
To support a growing data governance initiative, the full-time Data Governance Analyst will design, implement, and manage enterprise data governance programs, focusing on metadata management, data quality, and stakeholder collaboration in a remote or hybrid work environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Drive the implementation and continuous improvement of the data governance program, advancing capabilities in metadata management and data quality
- Partner with business and technical stewards to develop and govern business and technical metadata, establishing data quality rules and supporting issue remediation
- Facilitate alignment across business domains by defining consistent terminology, resolving conflicts, and supporting governance decision-making
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or related fields, including implementing data governance capabilities
- Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Data Analytics, Data Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven ability to partner with business and technical teams to define data requirements and resolve issues
- Strong understanding of data classification, security, and responsible data use practices
- Familiarity with data modeling concepts and data governance frameworks (e.g., DAMA DMBOK, DCAM)
