Data Governance Analyst

Job Summary

Executing governance practices across data quality and lifecycle management, the full-time Data Governance Analyst will work remotely to investigate data inconsistencies, support data quality lifecycle, and maintain metadata documentation while collaborating with technical and business teams.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate data inconsistencies and perform root cause analysis to resolve data quality issues
• Support the implementation and monitoring of data quality rules across enterprise data domains
• Maintain the accuracy and completeness of the enterprise data glossary and metadata catalog

Required qualifications

• 3-8 years of experience in data analysis, governance, or quality management
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field
• Working knowledge of SQL for data querying and validation
• Experience collaborating with both business and technical stakeholders on data challenges
• Familiarity with HIPAA data handling requirements and healthcare data structures
