Data Governance Analyst

Job Summary

To support the organization's data governance initiatives, the full-time remote Data Governance Analyst will establish and implement an enterprise data governance program, focusing on improving data quality, developing standards, and promoting responsible data management across various teams.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and support the organization's enterprise data governance framework and processes
• Develop and maintain data governance policies, standards, and best practices in collaboration with stakeholders
• Monitor and assess data quality, defining metrics and remediation processes to ensure data integrity

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Analytics, Data Management, or a related field preferred
• Minimum of three years of professional experience in data governance, data management, or analytics
• Strong understanding of data governance principles and data lifecycle management
• Experience with relational databases and SQL for data analysis and validation
• Ability to facilitate discussions across multiple departments to achieve consensus on data standards
