Data Governance Architect

Job Summary

To define and implement enterprise-wide data governance frameworks, the full-time Data Governance Architect will work remotely (local to San Francisco or Dallas) to ensure data is trusted, secure, compliant, and aligned with business needs while collaborating with stakeholders and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable enterprise data governance frameworks, operating models, and workflows
• Establish and enforce data standards, policies, and architectural patterns
• Collaborate across business and technical teams to translate requirements into actionable governance solutions

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Governance, or Enterprise Data Management
• Proven track record of designing and operationalizing governance frameworks at scale
• Strong expertise in business analysis, architecture, and technical solution design
• Ability to bridge business and technology, translating complex requirements into structured frameworks
• Strong understanding of the Retail Apparel industry, especially the customer journey
