Data Governance Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Governance Consultant to support enterprise data governance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and delivery of data governance initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities
• Oversee metadata management and define data quality rules to ensure the accuracy and reliability of enterprise data
• Coach team members on data governance concepts and communicate effectively to foster collaboration and highlight program outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience
• 8 or more years of experience in data governance and data management initiatives
• Demonstrated experience in leading data governance and cross-functional collaboration efforts
• Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, including DAMA/DMBOK principles
• Hands-on experience with data governance platforms, particularly Collibra, is highly desirable
