Data Governance Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Governance Consultant.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the planning and execution of Data/BI governance initiatives and ensure timely completion of governance activities
• Coach and mentor team members on data governance principles and practices
• Collect, develop, and implement Data Quality (DQ) rules while ensuring semantic alignment of technical metadata

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 8 years of experience in data governance and data management implementations
• Proven experience leading data governance, data management, and data quality initiatives
• Strong understanding of the DAMA/DMBOK framework
• Hands-on experience with Collibra Data Governance and Data Quality tools is a plus
