Data Governance Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Data Governance Consultant to prioritize data and metrics for decision-making and ensure the integrity of data assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement data quality initiatives and governance policies
• Provide access to trusted information about data assets for data consumers
• Drive adoption and maturity of data governance capabilities across business areas

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field and a minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience, or 9 years of experience in lieu of a degree
• Proven subject matter expert in data governance and data analysis
• Solid understanding of data governance principles and the Data Management Body of Knowledge (DMBOK)
• Experience in project management related to data governance
• Self-starter with experience in process improvement and collaboration
