Data Governance Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Governance Consultant (Microsoft Purview).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the data governance setup in Microsoft Purview, defining governance structures and processes
• Configure and execute the Purview Data Map, managing roles and data source registrations
• Build a governed, unified data catalog by defining roles, creating data glossary terms, and associating data assets

Required Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview, including data catalog and lineage
• Strong background in data governance, metadata management, and data quality
• Experience with Azure data services such as Fabric, Synapse, and Azure SQL
• Experience in Master Data Management (MDM) and workflow design for data processes
• Ability to perform business analysis and translate requirements into governance configuration
