Data Governance Director
Job Summary
Leading data governance and analytics architecture initiatives, the full-time remote Data Governance Director will ensure that all data, analytics, and AI efforts are built on a scalable and governed foundation while providing technical guidance and establishing architecture standards across the organization.
Key responsibilities
- Develop data governance standards and best practices, ensuring data quality and consistency across analytics and reporting
- Drive standardization of data assets and provide subject matter expertise on analytics architecture to align solutions with enterprise data platforms
- Consult on solution design for scalability and sustainability, advising on AI/ML standards and monitoring performance of analytics initiatives
Required qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in data governance, data architecture, and analytics roles
- 5+ years of leadership experience in driving data governance and analytics platform initiatives at enterprise scale
- Proven ability to implement data governance frameworks and standards
- Strong expertise in data modeling, cloud-based analytics platforms, and modern data ecosystems
