Data Governance Engineer

Job Summary

To support data governance initiatives, the full-time contract Data Governance Engineer will configure and manage Unity Catalog RBAC, register and classify data assets in Collibra, and implement data access controls, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and manage Unity Catalog RBAC using Entra ID groups and SCIM synchronization
• Register and classify data assets in Collibra with PII/PHI tags
• Implement data access controls aligned with established ABAC masking standards

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of demonstrated experience in a Data Governance role
• Proficiency in Unity Catalog, EntraID, SCIM, Collibra DQ/DI, and Python
• Experience with data asset classification and management
• Knowledge of data access control standards and practices
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting
