Data Governance Lead

Job Summary

Driving the execution of a modern data governance program, the full-time Data Governance Lead will manage the strategy and continuous maturation of governance capabilities across business segments, ensuring trusted data for underwriting and compliance in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own and lead the enterprise data governance program, defining and enforcing standards and policies aligned with regulatory requirements
• Establish data quality frameworks and conduct assessments to ensure trustworthy data at the source
• Engage stakeholders by communicating governance concepts and building trust across technical and business audiences

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or enterprise data program leadership
• Proven ability to define and execute governance frameworks, including data classification and quality management
• Strong executive communication skills to convey governance value to business leaders
• Experience driving organizational change in environments with nascent governance
• Demonstrated experience with modern data platforms and governance tooling
