Data Governance Lead

Job Summary

To support a Department of Defense Security Cooperation platform, the remote Data Governance Lead will establish and manage the enterprise data governance framework, ensuring data quality, security, and compliance across various programs, while facilitating governance councils and promoting data stewardship.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the enterprise Data Governance Framework and associated policies for the Security Cooperation platform
• Lead cross-functional governance activities to promote data quality, accessibility, and accountability
• Collaborate with Knowledge Management teams to enhance discoverability and reuse of Security Cooperation knowledge

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, Public Administration, or related field
• Minimum 10 years of experience in enterprise data management or governance
• Minimum 5 years supporting Department of Defense or Federal Government programs
• Experience establishing enterprise data governance programs and facilitating governance councils
• Active Secret Security Clearance and U.S. Citizenship required
