Data Governance Lead
Job Summary
To lead the development of Data Governance capabilities, the full-time remote Data Governance Lead will manage client governance programs, build marketable solutions, and establish Databricks partnerships while delivering hands-on consulting engagements.
Key responsibilities
- Lead client governance programs, workshops, and deliverables while managing enterprise Data Governance program roadmaps
- Develop repeatable Data Governance offerings and methodologies, and support business development as a subject matter expert
- Establish and grow Databricks capabilities and partnerships, connecting governance strategies with platform capabilities
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in Data Governance, Data Management, or related fields with a strong understanding of frameworks such as DAMA-DMBOK and DCAM
- Proficiency in modern cloud data platforms, particularly Databricks, and experience with metadata management and data quality
- Demonstrated experience leading client-facing consulting engagements and managing cross-functional teams
- Ability to develop and support significant annual sales opportunities in Data Governance and Databricks
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Management, or a related discipline; relevant certifications preferred
