Data Governance Manager

Job Summary

To support the Department of Veterans Affairs, the full-time salaried Data Governance Manager will establish and mature enterprise data governance practices, focusing on improving data quality and compliance while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise data governance standards, policies, and best practices
• Identify and document authoritative data sources and standardize enterprise data definitions
• Improve data quality and governance maturity across enterprise systems

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Governance, Data Management, and Data Administration
• Experience implementing enterprise data governance frameworks and best practices
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and data quality management
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills
