Data Governance Manager

Job Summary

Leading the development of enterprise data governance and master data management capabilities, the full-time remote Data Governance Manager will establish policies, manage implementation of a new MDM platform, and enhance data quality and usability across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Own and continuously improve the data governance framework, including policies, standards, and accountability models
• Assess current master data domains and lead the implementation of the selected MDM platform, ensuring effective coordination with internal teams and vendors
• Define data quality dimensions and build a network of data owners and stewards to ensure consistent execution of governance practices

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Data Management, Computer Science, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 5 - 7+ years of progressive experience in data governance, master data management, or related roles
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview and familiarity with MDM platforms such as Profisee, Informatica, or comparable tools
• Strong knowledge of governance operating models, metadata, and data quality practices
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage competing priorities, and facilitate change management initiatives
