Data Governance Manager
Job Summary
Leading the daily operations of a federated enterprise data governance program, the full-time Manager of Data Governance will drive adoption, education, and consistent execution of data governance practices while working remotely from approved states.
Key responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of the data governance program, ensuring alignment with established frameworks and institutional priorities
- Facilitate discussions and decision-making within data governance structures, including the Data Governance Council and stewardship working groups
- Collaborate with legal, privacy, and technical teams to develop and implement data governance policies and standards
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or related disciplines; 3+ years in leadership or program management
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Data Management, Business, or a related field
- Experience implementing data governance frameworks across multiple business domains
- Strong skills in cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management
- Familiarity with data governance tools and enterprise data quality frameworks
