Data Governance Operations Manager

Job Summary

Leading the operational execution of enterprise data governance, the full-time remote Data Governance Operations Manager will manage governance processes, oversee a team, and ensure compliance with data governance requirements across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of data governance processes, controls, standards, and documentation
• Manage a team responsible for governance administration, metadata coordination, and quality evidence tracking
• Embed governance requirements into delivery workflows and monitor compliance with relevant controls

Required qualifications

• Experience leading data governance operations or related enterprise data functions
• Strong knowledge of metadata management, data lineage, and data quality controls
• Experience translating governance policies into practical workflows and reporting
• Working knowledge of regulatory requirements relevant to enterprise data, including SOX and privacy
• Bachelor's degree in Data Management, Information Systems, or a related field; relevant certifications preferred
