Data Governance Project Manager

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager, the remote contract Data Governance Project Manager will manage data controls, compliance reporting, and audit remediation while collaborating with business, risk, compliance, and technology teams over a duration of 6-12 months.

Key responsibilities

• Manage data governance initiatives, including compliance reporting and audit remediation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to data controls and compliance frameworks
• Oversee the implementation of Agile/Waterfall methodologies in project management processes

Required qualifications

• 8-10 years of experience in data governance, compliance, and audit initiatives
• Strong knowledge of data governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks
• Experience working with auditors and managing remediation programs
• Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools
• Familiarity with SOX, GDPR, and CCPA regulations is preferred
