Data Governance Project Manager

Job Summary

To support compliance initiatives, the contract Data Governance Project Manager will manage data controls, oversee compliance reporting, and collaborate with various teams in a remote capacity for a duration of 6-12 months.

Key responsibilities

• Manage data governance, compliance reporting, and audit remediation processes
• Collaborate with business, risk, compliance, and technology teams to ensure adherence to data controls
• Lead initiatives utilizing Agile/Waterfall methodologies to enhance data governance frameworks

Required qualifications

• 8-10 years of experience in data governance, compliance, and audit initiatives
• Strong knowledge of risk management and compliance frameworks
• Experience working with auditors and managing remediation programs
• Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools
• Familiarity with SOX, GDPR, and CCPA regulations is preferred
