Data Governance Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Data Governance & Quality Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the data governance roadmap and establish data ownership models
• Implement automated data quality checks and manage key data quality KPIs
• Serve as product owner for data governance tooling and ensure cross-functional alignment

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data governance, data quality, or metadata management, or relevant advanced degree with reduced experience
• Strong experience working with cross-functional teams, including engineering and legal
• Proficiency in SQL and Python, with experience using Snowflake
• Deep understanding of data governance principles and frameworks
• Demonstrated experience implementing and monitoring data quality programs at scale
