Data Governance Specialist

Job Summary

As a full-time Senior Data Governance Specialist, the successful candidate will ensure the governance and documentation of People data, acting as the Domain Data Steward while collaborating with Data Owners and AI delivery teams to maintain data integrity and support AI initiatives, with options for remote work.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the Domain Data Steward, facilitating stewardship and promoting effective governance of People data assets
• Develop and maintain the domain's business glossary and semantic model, ensuring alignment with enterprise data governance standards
• Support AI readiness by ensuring data used in AI solutions is governed, trusted, and traceable

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience in data governance or management
• Experience in documenting business rules and data definitions, with a strong understanding of Talent Acquisition or People Services processes
• Hands-on experience with relevant platforms (Avature or ServiceNow) and data modeling skills
• Proven ability to build relationships across business and technical teams while managing competing priorities
• Organized and delivery-focused, with experience in managing complex initiatives and translating data into key performance indicators
