Data Governance Specialist
Job Summary
Supporting the implementation of data governance processes, the remote Data Governance Specialist will manage data quality monitoring, governance compliance reviews, and assist in developing governance artifacts such as metadata catalogs and data quality scorecards.
Key responsibilities
- Performs ongoing data quality monitoring and governance compliance reviews
- Maintains governance documentation and supports knowledge transfer to Government staff
- Develops and executes data quality test cases and reconciliation scripts
Required qualifications
- Experience with metadata management tools, data catalogs, or governance platforms
- Familiarity with NIST or DoD data management frameworks
- SQL proficiency
- Experience supporting RBAC or data access control processes
- Experience with data quality tools or frameworks
