Data Infrastructure Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Infrastructure and Systems Specialist to manage projects related to energy metering and billing data ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement database objects and manage schema evolution for internal SQL databases
• Develop backend services and automation tools to streamline billing workflows and ensure data integrity
• Support monthly billing cycles and lead onboarding of new buildings to ensure operational efficiency

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or equivalent experience
• 2-3 years of production database administration experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Microsoft SQL Server
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, Golang, Java, and Bash
• Experience with Liquibase, GitHub, Azure DevOps, and Azure Data Lake
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
